Ingredients

  • Curd 300gram


  • Besan 250gram


  • onion 1 medium size chopped


  • Ginger garlic chopped 2table spoon


  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch


  • Green chili chopped 5


  • Sugar 1 table spoon,salt to taste


  • Turmeric 1 tea spoon


  • Oil 1/2 cup for frying pokora


  • Oil 1table spoon for gravy


  • Jeera mustard seed methi coriander seed 1 tea spoon each


  • Dry Red chili 1


  • Coriander powder 1 table spoon


  • Ghee 1table spoon

Directions

  • For making pokoras ,add 100gram besan,100gram curd,salt,sugar,chopped onion,green chili ,red chili powder,baking soda,chopped ginger garlic and mix well..Add water off needed..heat oil and fry them like small pokoras..keep them aside.prepare a mixture of plenty of water ,150gram besan and 200gram curd.
  • Heat kadai ,add oil,jeera,coriander seed,dry red chili,methi,mustard seed and once they splutter add chopped ginger,garlic and green chili and fry them...add the mixture of curd,besan and water..cook in low flame..stir continuously.,,add salt sugar ,coriander powder ,red chili powder...once the mixture starts thicken ,add ghee ,chopped coriander leaves ,switch off the flame..add the pokoras and close the lid for 5 mnts ..and serve hot .
